International Latin Gold Program
This is the serious International Latin dancer who are now comfortable performing and competing and is hungry for perfection in the five dances, ChaCha, Rumba, Samba, Paso Doble, and Jive. Technique, styling, choreography, and presentation is a necessity in this standard. Gold level dancers have the ability to convey emotion though dance, not only with their partners but also with the audience. In addition, students will learn about dancing within the music, phrasing, showing rhythm through the body, understanding choreography and using visual leads. Students will also explore previously learned techniques at a deeper level with a focus on how individual steps work within the music. Gold dancers may be mistaken for a professional because they have developed such poise and polish in their dancing like real pros. By the end of the Gold Level Competitor Program, the student will achieve the highest level of the International Latin syllabus program.
Class Structure
This is an 12-Week Gold Level Program with classes offered twice per week for a total of 24 classes. The class meets Mondays and Wednesdays at 7:00 PM - 7:50 PM. See Calendar for the next start date of the program or go directly to our ONLINE scheduler.
Prerequisite
Trained in the Silver syllabus steps.

Dress Code
Latin dance shoes and dance practice wear required. Not only will you look like a competitor, you’ll feel like a competitor giving you a higher level of performance each step you take. Ask us for recommendations on shoes and practice wear.
Policy
This program is a commitment by the student and by the studio to finish the program in its entirety to fully benefit and reach the program goal. The program has been uniquely designed to transform beginner students into competitive level dancers efficiently. There is no partial program or a-la-carte classes within this program. It is very important that the student does not miss any classes as they continuously progress and build on previous classes. There are no make-up classes for missed classes. If for some reason a class is missed, private lessons are required to catch up. The program is subject to our refund policy and there is no refund once the program has started. *Free practice space as space allows following our Practice Policy.
