Group Classes

Group classes are a great way to get into dancing and we have lots of classes going on all the time! It's the perfect cure for two left feet. We teach many different forms of social and competitive dance at a variety of different levels. Click on the titles below to expand on the details.

Class Type

We offer mainly three types of classes:

4-Week Series classes take you on a journey of learning that progresses over several weeks. This means that each week you will review material from previous weeks and build on your experiences. Early bird registration (register and pay one week in advance of first class) is highly recommended because classes fill up quickly and you get a discounted rate. Series classes are either 50-minutes or 60-minutes long depending on the class.

Program classes take you on a journey of learning that progresses as well but over a longer period of time meeting either once (x1) or twice (x2) per week. All program classes are 50-minutes long.

Drop-in classes are classes you can take and drop in without any commitment. You just come in that day, take the class and just go for it. Each week, these classes usually teach either the same material building a strong foundation or teach certain targeted subjects like styling or technique depending on the class and instructor. Pre-registration is recommended as these classes fill up quickly. All drop-in classes are 50-minutes long.

Things To Know

No matter which class you take, you will learn the fundamentals, patterns, and partnering skills, in a friendly and fun setting. Classes maintain a medium pace throughout your class and if there's any doubt, the instructors will take the time to repeat materials so you get it right. Even if you can’t get it, Private Lessons are available to work on a specific step or to improve your dancing so you can move like a Pro in no time.

Things to know:
  • You never need a partner for group classes or private lessons.
  • You will rotate frequently with all the partners in class.
  • No dance experience needed. Most of our new students do not have a dance background.
  • Dress casual and wear shoes that don't fall off.
  • Use a combination of private lessons, group classes, and evening dances to progress quickly.
