Dipendra was introduced to Ballroom dance when he watched the movie "Dance With Me" and the next thing he knew, he was taking classes at a dance studio by the same name in India.

He has been dancing Ballroom since 2003 but became very serious about it when he moved to San Francisco and enrolled with Diane Jarmolow's Ballroom Dance Teachers College in 2007, which he feels has been the best thing he ever did for his dancing.

Although he has been dancing mostly American Rhythm and Smooth, his heart really longs for the International Latin. He has been fortunate to be trained by the best coaches here in the US and in the UK during his visit to Blackpool. He is very motivated toward teaching and enjoys teaching private lessons, group classes and wedding couples. He looks forward to every class as eagerly as his very first Samba lesson.
