Chen
has been dancing ballroom for over 8 years. Most of
those years were with the University of Maryland's
Ballroom Dance Club, which he has taught for over 4
years. Chen has competed in all 4 styles of
ballroom in the collegiate and amateur circuits,
although recently he has been concentrating on the
International Standard Style. Chen has trained with
a wide variety of instructors who are both elite
coaches and excellent teachers, including National
and International Champions. He currently remains
at the highest amateur status in competitions. He
has been studying the core principles of dancing,
and is excited to share his knowledge and
experience with his students!
Chen is our part-time dance instructor at Extreme
Dancesport.
