About Us
Extreme Dancesport is like no other dance studio. We're a unique and modern ballroom and latin dance center located in the heart of Cambridge. With an average of 300 active students registered each month, we teach social and competitive level dancing in an easy-to-learn format with a twist of fun and high professionalism. We hire only the most qualified dance professionals that not only know how to dance but know how to teach effectively.
Each member of our diverse team of instructors has competed nationally or internationally in one or several styles of ballroom dance and achieved great success. However, we feel that competitive experience is not enough; all of our teachers are also experienced dance educators. At Extreme Dancesport, we have an understanding of what it takes to help students succeed whether you're an absolute beginner or the most advanced dancer. Because of the high level of coaching and instruction we offer, we've enabled many of our students to compete all over the nation in which they have won numerous awards. We've also brought joy to many social and wedding dance couples who have never dance in their lives. We are truly committed to providing the highest quality dance instruction in a friendly and nurturing environment.
Our Facilities
Our studio facilities feature three large ballrooms, two restrooms, a changing room, hardwood floors, large floor mirrors, computerized music stations, and air conditioned rooms in a loft-like setting. We use the latest technology and software to enable our studio to run efficiently and to give our students the best possible dance experience. You'll immediately feel the high energy aura flow through your body when you dance here.
